Rickyard Cottage is a charming 1 bedroom holiday cottage situated on a working farm in Shropshire, ideal for a couple looking for a quiet rural escape but without the worry of complete solitude.
This 150 year old listed building adjoins another holiday cottage in the courtyard of Morrells Wood Farm that sits under the watchful eye of ‘The Wrekin’, one of Shropshire’s most well loved hills.
Offering a spacious open plan living area, with comfortable sofa chair, dining area and full fitted kitchen, The Rickyard provides everything you need to a relaxing break. Subtle touches reflect the barns history throughout, such as the converted oil lamp lighting, original timber beams and rustic hay rack. There’s a flatscreen TV with freeview and an electric fire for your comfort too. We are also able to provide free Wi-Fi during your stay.
The bedroom with double bed and ornamental drape is a little bit of luxury we all crave and the shower room has recently been fitted complete with shower, basin, WC and towel rail.
The cottage has views across the courtyard to the front and side views across to the fields beyond.
