If a holiday in Shropshire conjours up thoughts of a relaxing rural retreat, fine furnishings, sensational views and all located in a delightful little village with a country pub to boot – then Maple cottage could well be just what you’ve been looking for.

It’s envious location provides sweeping views across fields to the nearby Shropshire Hills. Views that can be enjoyed both inside and out – and its south facing position simply soaks up the sun.

Inside and the cottage is a delight. Recently refurbished to a very high standard with modern facilities and thoughtful design.

Despite it’s diminutive size, Maple cottage’s open plan layout provides a feeling of space, and a modern living space at that. A breakfast bar/dining area is cleverly incorporated into the layout too. The kitchen is very well equipped, including an electric oven and grill with 4 ring hob. This is a kitchen that should come complete with a warning sign – for those incredible views out of the window to the Shropshire Hills may distract from a boiling pan. You’ve been warned !

The comfortable leather sofa in the lounge is accompanied by a long piled and stylish rug. A flatscreen TV is also provided.

Upstairs, the bedroom is filled with natural daylight with large skylight and a pull down blind is provided for morning lie-ins. A large double bed is furnished with quality linen and a clothes rail is built into the corner frame of the room. The refurbished shower room comes complete with modern sink basin, WC and shower and again maximises the use of space available.

For eating out, there is a friendly country pub in the vllage within easy walking distance which offers fine local ales and quality food. Shrewsbury, with it’s vast selection of pubs and restaurants is just a 10 – 15 minute drive away.
