Shepherds Rest is one of three glamping huts on a working Shropshire farm, situated beneath Wrekin Hill and just a few miles from the World Heritage Site of Ironbridge Gorge.
Fully insulated and complete with a log burning stove, this one bedroom glamping hut provides rural accommodation all year round. Sleeping 2 people, the hut sits high above the tranquil sounds of a stream below and is delightfully situated with views to the surrounding woodland and a glimpse of The Wrekin above the trees.
Inside, the sitting and dining areas, with flat screen TV lead to a well equipped kitchen area. There is also free Wi-Fi available from inside your accommodation. At the far end of the hut, a large double bed ensures a comfortable nights sleep listing to the sounds of the stream.
The log burner is perfectly sized to heat the hut so that it is warm and cosy throughout the colder months of the year and the wood is supplied free of charge during your stay.
The toilet and shower facilities, shared with just one of the huts, are just a short 10 yard walk along an illuminated pathway. The electrically heated shower room, built form the forger pig-sty provides a high level of furnishing with clean and modern shower and toilet facilities.
The private decking outside provides a wonderful al-fresco dining experience. There is a brick built BBQ for your own use whilst enjoying the views of the surrounding woodland.

Location
Morrells Wood Farm sits at the end of a single track road, just over a mile from the little village of Leighton. The Kynnersley Arms, on the main road through the village, serves bar and evening meals. In the opposite direction from the farm and up the hill past the Wrekin, the village of Little Wenlock serves superb food too at The Hunstman Inn.
The Wrekin, Shropshire’s iconic hill, can be reached on foot via a permissive and scenic path right from your doorstep.
Ironbridge, with it’s visitor attractions, pubs, cafes and restaurants is just a 5 mile drive from Leighton.
