‘Daisy’ is recently refurbished holiday cottage, sleeping 2 people and situated in a pretty courtyard in the quiet hamlet of Ryton, just 10 minutes drive from historic Shrewsbury and the walker friendly town of Church Stretton.

During Spring & Summer the courtyard at Ryton Farm is as pretty as a picture, with careful attention paid to the many potted flowers and hanging baskets that decorate the cottages.

Inside, the cottage offers comfortable accommodation with a modern open plan living area downstairs, complete with a modern leather sofa, dining table for 2 and small kitchen. A flat screen TV and WiFi are also provided.

Upstairs, two single beds are provided and can be fully and freshly prepared with clean linen if you require. The owners also offer a lower rate for your stay if you provide your own. In the bedroom, a blind covered, skylight at head height offers views to the nearby hill, reminiscent of a Lakeland fell, that is The Lawley. If you enjoy your hill walking, this hill and it’s bigger brother Caer Caradoc should be at the top of your tick list!

The newly refurbished bathroom comprises of a modern shower over bath with toilet and sink basin, plus heated towel rail for a little extra comfort.

About The Area

For lovers of fine ale and good pub food, The Fox Inn is just a 5 minute walk from the courtyard where you are assured of a warm welcome. Serving locally sourced produce and cask ales – plus there’s a stunning view from the terrace that matches the very best anywhere in Shropshire. There is also a couple of pubs in nearby Dorrington. For a wide choice of restaurants, Shrewsbury is just a 10 minute drive away.

Ryton is just a short drive from the village of Dorrington, with it’s village store, post office and pubs. Ease of access onto the A49 and A5 roads ensures that much of Shropshire can be explored easily.
